T O P I C R E V I E WutrudnosI was curious to know whether, in synastry, a lack between a sun-venus contact, or moon-venus, could be partially made up for if a partner's venus falls in the other's 5th house or 4th house respectivelly? Thanks for your feedback.CosmicKarma360Sorry, I can't give you an answer, but I hope someone else here knows. That's an interesting question.Doux Rêve quote:Originally posted by utrudnos:I was curious to know whether, in synastry, a lack between a sun-venus contact, or moon-venus, could be partially made up for if a partner's venus falls in the other's 5th house or 4th house respectivelly? Thanks for your feedback.Very partially. It's good to have 4th/5th house connections in synastry, very, but it's not as strong as an actual planetary aspect. So if your Venus falls in someone's 5th house, you may have romantic feelings towards each other and have fun together, but you may not actually appreciate the person's "essence", the way they really are (lack of Sun/Venus aspects). But it definitely does help to have these overlays in synastry.utrudnosThanks for your answer. I was curious about this because my SO and I have only the harsher aspects between our respective suns/moons and venus, and yet we have incredible love and admiration, and attraction for each other. Weird. Doux RêveNot weird at all actually! It's often said that "hard" aspects are better than no aspects, because they create tension and energy. So, while it can get a bit tense, usually the attraction is strong and the people stick together. And the houses *are* important! Sorry if I made it seem like they're trivial, because they're not. They're crucial and definitely play a major role in synastry (and all branches of astrology).utrudnosOkay, thanks a bunch; That must be so in that case. Thanks for your help. Doux RêveYou're welcome, that's what the forums are for. Lava FlowerI actually think houses are more *personal*. For example, I have experienced Pluto trine moon, but that was nothing compared to Pluto trine moon and that moon in my 8th regarding disclosure, attachment and mutual emotional involvement. Interestingly, my Venus falls into his 5th conjunct his chiron and we have been involved for 7 years and its still hot We have no Sun-Venus.However, I think if a planet is strong in your chart then the aspects it makes in synastry will be *prominent* as well. So it really depends utrudnosThat's interesting because in my case, my Pluto conjuncts his Mars exactly, exactly on his IC and then his Mars and my Pluto also trine my moon, which falls in his 8th house; Perhaps this in conjunction with my Venus falling in his 5th, and his Venus in my 4th is causing the intensity. lalalindaHello utrudnos! Welcome to LL utrudnosThank you for the warm welcome. It's nice to be here.Aquacheeka quote:Originally posted by Doux Rêve: Very partially. But it definitely does help to have these overlays in synastry. That's very interesting. So would the same thing apply to nodal-planetary aspects? Because the nodes are not a physical bodies, right?

Very partially.
